Spanning 1979 – 2014 the graph gives a glimpse of the historical relationship that rappers have to the artistic mastery of Pablo Picasso,Jay-Z as market maker, the perceived archetypal divisiveness of Yoko Ono, and the recent increasing popularity of Jean-Michel Basquiat.
